Clutch Recommendation...
Clutch Recommendation... I've been poking around clutches/flywheels for a while, and now that my engine is close to being done I need to pull the trigger on the buy. My new set up is going to be a N/A 427 with 575+ rwhp. Car will be street/strip, not a daily driver.
I'd like some recommendations from people who have hands-on experience with similar hp cars and the clutches they've run.
Also, I'm considering an aluminum flywheel because I want my engine to rev quickly at idle. I'm willing to sacrifice a slight bit of ET in the 1/4 for this... good idea or not? If not, could I have my stock flywheel resurfaced or would it be smart to just get a new one?
I need to keep the cost reasonable, so no dual plates for me.

A solid comprimise is a Textralia oz-700 z grip, its a single disk, can handle in the range of 700hp, great street and track manners and countless stories of these unit lasting a long time.
I initally got one but had higher RPM shifting issues but the Tick Perf. Master Cyl fixed it fine since it pushes more fluids though it's Tilton Cyl.
I make abotu 450 fly wheel and I wouldnt hesitate to reuse or buy new for a larger cube motor.
As for flywheel, you just dont need to be a savage with slipping the clutch.
