Yeah, I think its the firmest, and stays the firmest no matter what I throw at this thing... it just takes it and keeps going.. i am still amazed

well I talked to much good about it i guess, but I dont think its the pressure plate...

I went to go hit 4th gear and it went into gear but the motor just reved.... and any gear with the clutch out nothing happens.

what I did do at the track was jack it up, and I had a buddy crank over the motor slowly and I could see the pressure plate moving, but i never did see any clutch disk pads.... and with the car running and you shift through the gears, it feels like your shifting with the car not running. so I think something may have happend with the disk. I am pulling the tranny tomorrow to find out.

damnit.

I'm doing a motor swap in about a week or so and next week i need to redo my set-up cuz my spec3+ got murdered my car is making power the same as yours just shy a few of 600! I couldn't believe it. I would rather shift my ***** off than buy an auto when i drive it every day lol. So throw me the set-up cuz i want to try in out!

idk, but it works. and I have tried 3 monster clutches, My textralia almost came apart on me the first pass I made with this motor, being it had almost completely ripped off two mounting locations on the PP.

I dont know how long it will last, but I am taking it out tonight and I might spray it and see what happens....
Your tex should have been covered under warranty 580hp 8000rpm isnt enough to hurt it, I had 750hp and 7500rpm through mine its fine. A lot of circuit and drag racers use them some running 140mph plus in cars your weight. Sean edmunds runs one in his TT built big hp LS1 been in it for years and has lasted a couple of rebuilds still dont miss a beat. They love being abused. I would have tried another one.

cheers
