buyin a new tranny???
 

Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a built t56 that can handle around 800rwhp. I looked at a few sponsors but i wanted to hear so personal experiences. Like how they held up, if u would go with them again, (whats a good site to buy from that's trust worthy and reliable?). I was to go with six speed inc. but i heard that they when out of business. I just blew my a4 and now want to go m6. that's for your help guys!

Without a core, you might as well buy a brand new T56 magnum.

then will everything bolt up OK? That's why i wanted a t-56 because I'm doing a conversion also so i want to make getting all of the parts as simple as possible? I'm a first timer in this category. fml lol

In addition to the trans/bellhousing, you will need pedals, hydraulics (master/slave/line) and you will need the driveshaft modified since the Magnum uses a larger mainshaft similiar to the Viper T56. Its rated at 750lbs of torque but should be able to handle 900-1000 as long as you are not beating the living crap out of it all the time.

So can i use the stock t-56 trans/bellhousing, you will need pedals, hydraulics (master/slave/line). Then where do u get the drive shaft modified at? Aren't there just any built t-56 that can handle the same power to make it easier?

Like i know what to do for a T-56 and what parts I'll need because i read the a4 to m6 swap. Plus because of general knowledge. I'm just not sure about the T56 magnum. Like are all of the parts interchangeable. I have no idea???

Looking at D&D Performance. Does any 1 have any reviews, imputes, experiences with there t-56 trans and what horse power they will max out at?

You can build a T56 to the same basic levels but the price will be damn close as what the Magnum offers. If you had a core, I would say use that and have it built. Since you do not have a core, you might as well buy the T56 Magnum.

I agree with thesource. If you do not have a core, buy teh Magnum.
If you have a T56 already, have it built. Rather simple.
