Default what grinds my gears.

Ok i just bought 99 z28 m6, i just clicked over 37k miles, the clutch grips good ran a 13.1 in it so i know its gripping, but theres at least a inch of play at the end of the clutch pedal its real floppy and the tranny is notchy going into all gears, and just about every run at the strip it grinded 2nd, matter of fact it grinds most of the gears while fast shifting, any ideas???

I noticed that with my stock 01 master, I had that problem but it was limited to probably 1/10 shifts. When it did happen I did notice it. Downshifting to 2nd was sometimes met with a block also once in awhile. When I installed the tick master, it all went away. I'm thinking the stock master even when drill modded just doesn't move the fluid fast enough and allows a bit of drag enough to wreak havoc on the 2nd gear syncros.
