Default Finished My T56 Swap

Well I finished my t56 swap the other night and I have to say it is so much more fun to drive. I still need to get it tuned and I still need to hook up the reverse lights. My Question is my asr light is on. Will it cut off when I get it tuned or is there a wiring to make it still work. I really dont care I dont need traction control. Just want the light off. And they should be able to disable skip shift in the tuning right? I didnt plug the hole I just left it how it was.

Which hole didn't you plug? If the CAGS solenoid is missing, you need to plug that hole. Yes, a tune will eliminate CAGS. But if your PCM is OBD2, you still need to have the CAGS solenoid hooked up, or have the resistor in the harness. Otherwise it will throw a code.

Was the ASR light on before the swap? The tranny has nothing to do with traction control, so it's something you did. Check your grounds.

I left the selinoid for the cags there. I didnt plug the hole. Do I have to or can i just leave it how it is? I dont see what I could have done for the traction control light to stay on.
