spec clutch noise

Default spec clutch noise

i have a spec stage 3 with the billet steel flywheel and it squeaks....is this a normal thing for a spec clutch?

yes i have seen some do this, its the friction materials, no big deal, i usually see it on the stage 5 SPECs
is it a new clutch?

Yea, some Spec's chatter. If it is past the 500 break in, give it hell it might go away.

My spec 3 sounded like I stepped on a baby rabbit on medium launches .

Carbon-semi-metallic based disc materials can have some sound during engagement. The amount of sound and frequency of its occurence are greatly dependent on the amount of slip induced when engaging the clutch. The more you drag your foot the more apt you'll be to have this noise. Also, flatness of the flywheel can contribute to this as well. That being said some noise of this kind isn't unusual.
