I just installed a short stick that I bought from the WS6store. It’s awesome but it’s a lot louder than the stock one. Is this typical? The shifts are a lot louder and I can hear noises coming up in low gears like 1 and 2. It dosent really bother me, I just want to know if this is common.

It's normal to hear more tranny noise with the short stick.

It's because you're getting rid of the rubber bushing in the stockl shifter

Yup, what they said. Once you remove that crappy rubber bushing, all the noise will come up through the shifter.
