Default LS7 clutch kit for a LS1? will this work?

so goin 6speed this go around. wondering will a ls7 clutch kit from scoggin dickey work on a ls1 car. think this would be my best bet for the money for good clutch kit. what master cylinder and slave cylinders are best. goin to start buying parts here and there till i have complete 6 speed t56 setup for my ws6. thanks for help!

Thats a good start. I def get a Tick master with that clutch setup, only because its a pretty heavy setup. I tried running a stock 100k mi clutch master and it cost me 2nd gear on my tranny. As far as a slave goes just get a brand new stock 01 and up slave cylinder. I ran the LS7 on my car for around 25k and it was real nice on the street but didnt like a ton of track time with stickey tires. And yes it will work just fine as long as you get the ls2 flywheel to go with it.

I did not use a slave shim, but from what Ive heard it would of probably been a good idea.

The scoggin dickey Kit works great that is what I am running. The ls2/ls7 flywheel is the same so the one that comes with the kit is correct. I didnt use any spacers.

Totally not necesary as long as you are using the LS2 flywheel. I run this same setup with nearly 430 RWHP and no shim bs and several passes and have had no problems.
