T56 Tech and Swap questions
Ok I am planning on using a turbocharged LQ4 through a T56 to put atleast 500hp on the ground.
My first question is engine related, I have heard that I can use any LQ4 from 01-04 because of the crank spacer, however when I look them up I often see them grouped 01-02 and 03-07. Can I use a newer engine.
Next is can I use a viper or mustang T56 with an input shaft and bellhousing swap. Would it be that simple, would there be anything else that I would need/want to swap, and would there be any nbenifit to doing it this way.
P.S. I am using a 02 camaro computer and harness for an automatic, I have the hp tuner program could I take care of the programing and can I still use the automatic harness.
P.S.S. This is going in a 71 chevelle.

The harness needs to be modified. I have an auto harness, and found the three connecters that need to be changed on ebay.
The computer needs to be reprogrammed, to eliminate vats and to be set up for 6 speed.
Theres a little more to it, but im still figuring it out.
