Default Monster Clutch Co. Twin Discs!!!!!!

FINALLY!

We've already known it will hold and take abuse, we've just finally got all the small "little" things that people usually bitch about taken care of (I.E. floater plate rattle, misc. noises, engagement, etc.)!

We'll be officially offering these in three flavors for the 12" units and two for the 11" guys making stupid power; pricing will depend on what my machinist sends me on Monday. Once we get that then I'll sign off on full production and it's on!
  • 12" Carbon Organic Twin Disc - 850hp/tq - ~$1000 (no chatter)
  • 12" Ceramic Twin Disc - 1250hp/tq - ~ $1100 (no chatter)
  • 12" Iron Twin Disc - 1450hp/tq - ~$1200 (minimal chatter)
  • 11" Ceramic Twin Disc - 1550hp/tq - $1500 (minimal chatter)
  • 11" Iron Twin Disc - 1750hp/tq - ~$1600 - (minimal chatter)

I just got back from driving a car we put our Ceramic 12" twin disc in and all I can say is HOLY SH*T!!!!! This thing will be rated at 1250hp/tq and me and six other guys here at the shop could NOT get this thing to chatter! It's as smooth as a stock clutch, hell we were letting out the clutch at idle without chatter! The best part is you'll get all this and it will hold HUGE power!

We're excited to say the least! 19 months and investing way too much money to even think about and we finally nailed it!!!!

I'll post this on more forums and on Monday expect concrete pricing, timeline of production, and PICTURES!

Steve A.

I don't know what everyone needs pictures and videos for? If its like the rest of the Monster lineup, those clutches come with a warranty!

I think I might speak for everyone by saying "we like pretty things" whether it be women, cars, twin disk clutches, triple disk...(cough,cough), 6 gears....etc

Whoa, I just said of a twin disc clutch! All that other stuff is good picture looking. I am sure Steve will pin them up just as soon as he can.

Can you provide a weight on these and also will they be SFI approved?

Is there an option for a lighter flywheel?
