INSANELY stiff clutch pedal: Tick master, slave, or Zoom ls6 clutch?
So I recently did a 6 speed swap. Never driven another M6 car so I had no idea how it was supposed to feel. I heard the Tick master was supposed to be stiff so I thought my pedal was normal, until tonight when I helped install one on a freinds' car. His clutch is nowhere near HALF as stiff as mine. Here is my setup:
-Tick adjustable master cylinder
-Perfection (same manufacturer as Zoom) slave cylinder
-Zoom ls6 stock replacement clutch (organic, nothing special)
His car is an 02 which came with the GM ls6 clutch obviously, so I would think the pedal should be about the same. I suppose the Zoom clutch might have a slightly stiffer pressure plate, but I can't imagine a stock replacement clutch would be THIS much stiffer. As I said before, a TON stiffer.
any thoughts?
