question on t56

question on t56 so im a dunce when it comes to trannies. if i buy a t56 to go on a 383 in an 86 camaro(replace a th350) would there be any problems with the electronics on the trans to go in or can you bypass all that. only reason i ask is because i had one in my gto and it had electronical stuff to it (skip shift etc.)

Well skip shift has a connector on the tranny and if you unplug it the cags light would come on in the dash, but your car won't have that light, so as far as that is concerned, skip shift won't be the problem, but maybe the engine needs to be tuned for it, idk
