Clutch visual inspection possible? Slipping etc.

I have a 99Z with 95000 miles on it. My stock clutch is feeling soft,a little hard to shift and will slip if i jump on it in a higher gear at low RPM. Is the clutch history or perhaps just need a bleed job? Can it be inspected without dissassembly? Thx.

Pretty sure you will need a new clutch. 95k is a good amount of miles on a stock clutch - that's around the time mine started going. There is no way to visually check it through a port in the trans or anything. LS7 clutch is a great stock replacement.

Yes, feels about right, My local LS1 hotrod shop was mentioning the LS7 clutch flywheels are very heavy.Any downside to this on a basically stock LS1 car. Except for 4:10s out back? Thx.
