Default CTS-V twin clutch... McLeod 6912-07?

Ok, I'm looking at replacing my clutch with something that will be turbo ready, and I'm not sure what I need to make my setup work. The LS6 V, if you don't know already, has a shitty (bulky and heavy) dual mass flywheel and is fairly thick. I need to know if buying a LS1 flywheel and a 6912-07 dual clutch kit would be right for my car.

Basically, is the distance between the mounting surface of the flywheel and the diaphragm the same for the LS1 flywheel + dual disc McLeod clutch as the CTS-V's flywheel + pressure plate?

I know the LS7 clutch swap requires a spacer for the master cylinder, I'm just wondering if this would require a spacer or not.

Only way to really know is to measure it. Not sure many people here have had much hands on with the dual mass out of the V. I would say the McLeod would be a smaller clutch package since they can use that clutch in an F-body. The LS9 twin stack height is the same as the V's stock clutch setup and F-body guys cant use the LS9 clutch package like we can. You would need to shim the slave but you wont know until you can get a measurement. Will it work, sure!

Use the 6912-07 RST, 460530 Flywheel, 14-302 Hydraulic Adjustable Bearing & a 139222 adapter hydraulic supply line.

Holy crap! The throwout bearing is almost as much as the clutch! I think I'll pass on that piece. I'll probably have to shim it, no?

Yeah that would be the most cost effective way.
