Can't get into 1st or reverse?? Hey guys,
I've got about 40k miles on this clutch and about 12k on the Tick M/C. No issues except high rpm shifting troubles, which the Tick really improved.
All of a sudden I can't get it into 1st or reverse, with the motor on or off. I've bled and re-bled the clutch and have a very firm pedal. There is a screeching sound coming from either the PP or the slave, when the pedal is pushed and released.
I removed the cover and took this pic with the pedal all the way down, to check for release:
How much clearance do I need between the clutch and flywheel? I can't rotate the clutch freely with the pedal depressed.
I've beginning to wonder about the pilot bearing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
