did the drill mod, still sticking at high rpm well yeasterday i saw the vid on the stickie about doing a drill mod, i got pumped up and said i could do that!!! it took me six hours to do it, and bleed the system....i made a hole in the fire wall by the pedal to bleed the system.... so now that did not work, whats my next step?? |

Do you mean the pedal is still sticking to the floor? Remove the spring on the pedal. |
The pressure plate is bad. Its losing its ability to disengage at high RPM's. I had the same problem and went with a Luk gold non adjustable pressure plate and got a puck style disk made at the local brake and clutch shop. I'm running a 403 and no slip problems whatsoever. I think I got $500 in the whole setup, including SFI cert. flywheel... that includes having the machine shop balance the assy. |
changed mine out to a Diamond stage 2 complete clutch kit from TDP fixed mine, still with stock M/C and no drill mod. |
