Default clutch or trans

sitting in the driveway in N i hear a rotational noise comming from under my car with the clutch in it stos

also i can only shift into 3rd smoothly if i put the car in N first then 3rd and sometimes 4th
however I can not downshift from 4th to 3rd it makes a horrible grinding noise

i have bled the system several times i dont think that is my issue

any input

I want to make sure I understand your situation so please confirm:
If you come to a stop with the car in neutral and then try to select a gear it is difficult.
Does this affect every gear? Do you notice any difference if you pump the pedal (i.e. does it make it easier to select a gear)? Let me know and I will be happy to assist you further. Thanks,

Default 3rd and 4th

pretty much its just 3rd and 4th gear like something is moving inside the trans any other gear is fine its just those 2 gears

if im driving normal i can shift from 2nd to 3rd if i put the car N for about 2 seconds and it doesnt grind but if i were to shift normal it will grind

This sounds like an internal transmission issue: synchro, fork, ring, etc...
So, it is time for a tear-down and rebuild!
