Default Input Shaft bearing question

Whats the best way to get the Bearing off the input shaft? I switched the Trans to LS1 from LT1.

Any good tips out there? I have a LT1 T56 Midplate for sale if anyone needs one, also input shaft for T56..

Jason

I typically hit the tip of the input shaft against the flat spot on my vice until the bearing seperates from the face of the gear enough to put a split plate puller under it. After that, it will press right off. If you don't have a press and don't care about the LT1 input shaft, keep hitting the tip on a hard surface until the bearing comes off. It will mushroom the tip of the shaft but won't matter if the gear is going to be junked.

We got it off last night my dad had some tool that was made for pulling bearings so it came right off.

Thanks for the help.
