Stage 2 from anybody here is usually good for 600/600.

We also offer different gear ratio upgrades at no add'l charge, pending availability. The newest upgrade is this ratio set: 2.66, 1.78, 1.30, 1.00, 0.80, 0.63 which can be done on a 27-spline (Stg 2) or 31-spline (Stg 3) setup.
I am *finally* at a point where I can buy a trans outright and will be calling tomorrow. Question tho... my intended use is primarily HDPE / road racing in the Trans Am listed on my sig. The car weighs 3100 pounds, the engine currently has stock internals, and the rear axle is a 3.23. I'm tempted to go with a numerically higher gear when money permits (3.90 or 4.11).

This in mind, I'm wondering about your gear ratio options. What do you suggest?

What clutch assembly is available for 800+Hp
More importantly, what flywheel is needed for use on gen4 crank offset and fbody t56?

And i want to keep one of my lower mile cores. Would like returned after built. Has bout 3k miles. But I have another that works, but can turn in for core.

Yes, 1-4 can be swapped in without messing with 5-6-R, and vise-versa. However, keep in mind that 4th gear (input shaft) determines the ratios of the entire transmission. So, if you go to 2.97, 2.07, 1.43, 1.00, z06 gearing, then your 5-6-R will be the same whether you use the Corvette gearing or f-body as they are the same tooth count. Ratios will be .84/.57 in 5/6, compared to .74/.50 in the f-body

Not even close to the same prices. Back in March of 2012, Tremec raised all prices almost double. So the $1900 deals are long gone. Now, a lot of parts are on backorder, and hard to get. So IF I can even build an f-body T56, the price is $2800 without a core, but this is MUCH easier and usually cheaper to have a core T56 to exchange. It really doesn't matter which type of T56, as I can accept ANY T56 or TR6060 for an exchange unit. 03/04 Cobra, C5/C6 Vette, LT1, LS1, Viper, etc, etc..

Check my other thread for the current transmissions in stock at this time.

Would the approx price on a basic rebuild LT1 T56 still be around $2800 without a core? I don't know if price differs between Ls1 stuff or not when it comes to transmissions. What would be the price with a T56 core?

With the purchase of a T56 or just a T56 rebuild, we will give you a package deal on any Diamond Clutch kit. For example, The Diamond Stage 2 complete kit is normally 759+shipping, so roughly 800 shipped, and the f-body T56 is 1900+shipping, so $2000 shipped. This adds up to $2800, but -150 (discount) = $2650 shipped as a package deal

Stage 2 T56 upgraded build starts out at $680 parts/labor. Includes all new syncro rings, keys, springs, fork pads, seals, upgraded steel 3/4 fork & upgraded billet 4140 chromoly alloy 3/4 keys.

If you're shipping the T56 in, I'll pay for it up front and you get MY cost both ways. Average is 85 each way, so 170 round trip. So the Stg 2 build shipped is only $850 for the f-body T56.
Of course, the price can go up if additional non-wear items end up having to be replaced.
