lookin at the mgw shifter-opnions? lookin to buy this shifter but havent seen much abt it...any opnions good bad? |
I got one.. I didn't notice much difference in throw at all. I am coming from stock Hurst shifter with the WS6 store short stick to the MGW shifter. The only big difference I noticed was the left-right movement to the gears. |

I love mine. No complaints. |
best one on the market! usually if they up for grabs they arent up for too long in any case.....never missed 3rd.... then imo, pro 5.0, hurst comp.....then well b&m ripper then stock hurst unit |
I have one as well and love it. No complaints at all |
killer mine will be here next few days thanks alot guys |
I switched fromm the Pro 5.0 to the Mgw and love it. Its a much tighter shifter. |
Had mine for 2-3 months and love it:) short and precise, you have to be an idiot to miss gears with it. My cousin drove it and didn't realize he was already in gear lol. Anythings better than stock, but MGW is awesome. It'll feel super stiff the first week or two but it gets much more loose. |
I thought it was ridiculously tight when I first got it, but I don't mind it now. |
Coming from a pro 5.0 with ws6 store short stick to MGW. IMO best shifter hands down, tight, short throws, and precise. If you can't tell I love mine lol |
Another +1 for the MGW, came from the factory hurst to the MGW, biggest difference IMO was the center return. |
i love the thing, even had the stick cut down a lil more its super short and precise i dig on it |
