Did you just bolt up the QT bellhousing & go or did you check runout of the opening & use offset dowel pins? I did a search & found out about someone doing this, couldnt find it today though. From this post it seems its a fairly perfect fit.

I just bought one of these & making sure I dont need these damn offset dowels. Also, did anyone need to shim the slave cyl? Thanks.

I checked mine, but it was close enough to not need the offset pins.

Nope mine was fine. Had it on for about a month and a half. No issues. Couple of passes and countless digs and highway pulls.

As stated in my thread, everything fit perfect. I just bolted up and went. No issues in over 1.5 years. I didn't shim my slave at all. Textralia and new stock GM slave with Tick hydraulics.

I had to offset mine .007" using offset dowel pins from Lakewood. Total pain in the ***, though worth it. Because of the misalignment, I ruined a brand new clutch disc from running the engine with things not on center. Quicktime told me to just bolt it up and it will be fine. I knew better but I just did what he said. I only blame myself. But I would dial it in just to be sure. It doesn't take that long...

Mine checked put great of the hole on the trans plate. But is that centerd with the dowles the trans bolts to anyway?

Wouldn't you need to bolt the front cover of the trans on, and indicate it thu the input shaft hole on the bearing hole???
