Does anyone have a picture of where the dowels are located at? My transmission is not coming out and was told that the dowels are probably corroded is why. Any help appreciated.

Are you trying to pull it with the bell housing or are you unbolting it from the bell housing?

Unbolt it the transmission from the bell housing leaving the bell housing bolted to the engine.

yup thats easier to do.

I took a pic without the bell on, just the back of the motor, that might help you. You can see the shape of the motor and were the dowels and bolts are. There right on the sides of the block at 3 and 9 o'clock
