Default Bypassing speedo issues with lt1 t56 swap

I am currently in the middle of doing a 97' t56 swap to my 93' lt1.

The only real issues that i have heard are the issues with the speedo, i.e. 93' cars had manual speedo, 97' has electronic.

I don't want to go through the trouble of switching my car to obd2 right now because I really just want to get this thing on the road and have some fun before I tear it apart again.

Is there a way to bypass these speedometer issues for the time being?

my thoughtsaftermarket speedo that goes straight to the transmission, switching the tailshaft with an earlier t56 w/manual speedo, reflashing ecu or some sort of chip type thing.)

Any help or suggestions would be awesome, thanks for your time.
