You need to get the LS1 front plate and LS1 bellhousing.

you will need an ls1 bellhousing and front plate and also the input shaft for an ls1 as it is longer. you can use used parts although i would go new on the input shaft

OK,... well I have done hours of research today, on every web sit that my Government computer would let me access and Ls1tech is not one of those, go figure. I have the input shaft, I'm gonna get a

front plate - 200
Bell housing - unkown.. only ones I can find are new and for 500+
ls1 clutch and flywheel - mclouds $1100
Do I have to have the ls1 master and slave cylinders?? cant really find clarification on that one.

also do I have to have the ls1 pedal set up? I found a few that say yes and other that say no.... anybody know for sure?

I'm not sure about master cylinders however they should probably be replaced as chasing down issues with used hydraulics is just a pain. you will need an ls1 slave also which you can get from autozone because it is the same part as a gm one. as far as the bellhousing goes you can usually find a used one on here for around 150 keep in mind you can also use an 04-06 gto bell but you will need the gto starter then as well.
