Clutch sticking to floor! Help!
I just bought a 2000 Formula with 102,000 miles and when I shift hard from 2nd to 3rd the clutch sticks to the floor and I have to pull it back up with my hand. This is my 2nd 6 speed and the first time this has done this to me. What could be causing this and how do I fix it?

Master cylinder is shot. Check the clutch fluid. I'll bet anything its blacker than night. Most people here I think will recommend the Tick Performance master cylinder. Its a little more expensive, but completely worth it. If the clutch is original, Tick also sells combos with Monster clutches. My philosophy, if you're going to do one part of a system, do them all. If you got a few extra bucks, replace the master and slave cylinders, and the clutch. At 102k miles, you probably don't have much life left in that slave.
The tell tale test of whether or not the master is dead: do a 4000 rpm launch. If it sticks to the floor doing that, its toast.

Tick mastercylinder is a awsome piece a pain to get in but worth the sweat and effort and if u tearing it down i would do clutch master cylinder and slave cyliner then no more worries
