680hpīs at 6500 rpmīs what clutch

I just finish to assembly my stroke engine for my 1998 t56 camaro, that have a dana 60 rear end with a 4.56 gear, run with slicks 28 x 10.5 and was thinking to improve my clutch, right now it have a ls7 clutch, did it will survive? it is must a drag car, it just go to the track and came back, but the intentions are for race all year, the budget are tight, so was thinking in a ls9 twin or twin McLeod, what did you recommend me, lets see all.

McLeod twin disc.... RXT or RST. Lighter than stock pedal pressure....

thesource 10-06-2012 05:41 PM

Dont do the RST for this application.

OP, give us a call. We've got our singles and twins on sale right now and they'll support all that you mention and more!

Your output doesn't really require a twin. We offer a Single-disc that will easily cover this with great drivability as well (Stage 3+). And if you decide you want a multi-disc our Super-Twin unit are tried and tested. They provide great capacity, drivability and they are able to be rebuilt. Take a look at the links below and let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to assist you!

RXT. I think that's what I'm rolling with when I pick up my new car. GL choosing buddy. I'd definitely go with a twin.
