Won't shift into 1,3,5 or reverse
 

My 99 FRC won't shift into any gears that require the shifter to move forward. 2,4,6 work fine. Aftermarket Hurst shifter, new LS7 clutch, throw and fluid recently. Everything was good though, reverse and 1st were a bit mushy (like others). Ran it to redline and just wouldn't go into 3rd. Never happened before. Any ideas?

Check the shifter and linkage.

There is likely somthing that has fallen in the shifter like a stop nut.
