Default Ls7 clutch recomendation recommendations

Ive got a supercharged ls7 with 600hp at the tyres, its a daily driver, not a drag car, iam after a clutch to handle the power with occasional abuse, i dont want an on/off type brass clutch, i want a nice clutch to use for everyday driving, i want a quality brand clutch, so people let me know what you guys are using? Thanks

I'd look into the McLeod RST or the Monster LT1

I hear everyone says the ls9r for that purpose but it has to be installed right or won't last

Mcleod for sure! We never have any problems with them and they hold up to everything. They also don't make your pedal stiff...

Jack, I highly suggest the Mantic 9000 for your application. McCleod is having some quality control issues causing engagement/disengagement issues.

I'm more track duty and opted for the RPS Billet Carbon but the Mantic was a close second.

Our LT1-S is what I'd recommend as it will drive exactly like a a stock C7 clutch being that's what it is just adapted to work in the C6 with our billet flywheel. Here's a link with info and pics, don't hesitate if you have any questions or would like a quote. Chris, 817-750-2000
