Default Steel or aluminum flywheel

Well my monster 3 took a **** on me last weekend after 2500 miles and about 20 track passes in a bolt on c5z. No I'm going to go with a spec SS twin disc or P trim twin disc. I'm running an aluminum flywheel now, my question which will be better a steel or aluminum. I know people run an aluminum because it's lighter. But I've heard of some using a steel flywheel because it's heavier and carries more inertia helping the car in the higher rpms.

I want to know which is better and why. Car is getting heads, cam, and a 150-200 shot in the near future.

IMO, the only time a steel flywheel has an advantage over aluminum is launching and at gear changes. After the clutch is engaged the aluminum has the advantage.

I went from the stock 24lb fw to a Spec steel billet 28lb one and like it. The engine will run smoothly at a lower rpm without lugging than with the lighter fw, which was a pleasant surprise the first time out after the change. Also like SSSTANG said on launching and gear changes it seems the engine has more torque....hits the tires harder.
Here's a article that talks about fw weight among other things. (cliff notes, they like a lighter fw)

Being that I'm going with a pretty heavy clutch I think I'm going to go aluminum. I'm putting a spec P trim clutch.
