Default SPEC Slave/throwout shim question.....

SPEC's tech office is closed today. Measured according to SPEC's directions.
Measurement "A" , the distance between clutch fingers and face of bell housing is 2.0925" (2-3/32").
Measurement "B" , the distance from face of throwout bearing to the transmission face is 2.000"
Their sheet allows for measurement "B" to be between .175" and .225" LESS than measurement "A" and any more than that you need a shim. Since I am under the .175" measurement "A" I'm assuming I need no shim.
My question: Is there an issue with it being .0925" when the window is .175" to .225" ?

Thanks for your time
Mike

I installed a Quicktime bellhousing and Spec Stage 5 clutch over the summer. I think my measurement was right around .100" - .125" and it works perfectly. From all my years of circle track racing that was right around the air gap that was ideal.

Thanks for the reply ... I figured I'd be ok I was just wondering if being a little below their window was as bad as being way over and needing a shim...
