Which Clutch?
i know a few things...but clutches not so much. I will be getting a forged 6.0 lq9 soon and i figure while everything is out i better upgrade the clutch too. the project is a 2002 Ws6 trans Am about 55,000 miles. When i procharged it years ago a stock rod let go after a few 1000 miles....so 4 years later its time to get it going again. I intend to keep the stock T56 and i think it has the ls6 clutch. I will be doing mostly street driving and plan pushing hopefully 700-750hp to the wheels. I have heard good things about the Mcleod RXT twin disk but what do you guys think?? do i need to do anything special to suit a twin disk clutch? thanks!

If you're looking at 750 horsepower to the wheels and you're thinking about the occasional quarter-mile run, our DYAD twin-disc system (part #04614842) will handle the torque easily (The DYAD is rated up to 1,300 ft.-lb.). The nature of its design means huge holding capacity but a also very streetable pedal feel.
