Can anyone(JMD) provide the location dimensions and such for the additional snap ring used on the 5/6 gear cluster, Rev synchro hub of the Z06 t56?

Guess I should have been more specific, need the location dimensions on where to cut and add the groove for the snap ring.

I think you referenced, "The ledge where the rear mainshaft tapered bearing seats against is a good reference point.", in another thread which gives me a start point but need more info.

Dimension from shoulder to locate groove and groove width and depth.

Match an existing shaft (I farm out the lathe work) or do something close that works.

It's got to be zero clearance against the cluster gear, and fit under or against the rev. synchro hub counterbore floor.

The splines are hardened, so it's interesting to find someone willing to do the work.

Yeah.....if I had a Z06 shaft just laying around to reference, wouldn't have started this thread.
