Default LS 3/Muncie 4sp, Corvette

I am going to change engine in my 62 Corvette to a LS 3 and would like to keep the stock Corvette bell housing and transmission.

I understand the crank shaft is shorter on the LS, so there is a difference in the length of the trans input shaft by 1/4 inch to the pilot bearing
.
What flywheel and clutch will I be looking for (LS 7)?

Will the stock through out bearing and clutch fork work with the LS 7 clutch package, or what will I need?

Prolly can't do it with the stock C2 bell. IIRC, those only fit the 153t flywheel and you'll need a bell that fits the LS's 168t 'wheel. There are factory aluminum bell options and several aftermarket steel ones...

Very doable.
All the info and part numbers you'll need.
