Default Brand New Slave Cylinder Leaking?

Has anyone else ever had this issue? I got a brand new clutch slave cylinder, installed it, went to bleed it and brake fluid is pushing through the center and dripping out. What a mess.

Yea that has happened to me before. I've also had it where the slave was seized up and wouldn't move. Nightmare both times.

Is there a chance you might have overextended it?

Anything is possible but I doubt it. I was very carefully and slowly getting a solid line out of it, only depressing the clutch with the bleeder cracked open.
