Default Everything new out of ideas

Been fighting the clutch pedal sticking down and other issues for a while now and in the process I've learned the the pilot bearing went out and did some damage but to get to the point I've had the trans rebuilt, installed a tick master with speed bleeder new gm slave (shimmed), new clutch, basically everything new. Well it's been together a few months and the pedal is still sticking on high rpm shifts but its intermittent. I can always hit 1-2 shift no problem it's the 2-3 or 3-4 shifts that I'm having problems. However I hit the track two weeks ago and it worked great hit every gear perfect no misses at all but I went to the track this weekend and couldn't make a pass that I didn't miss a shift. I have no idea where to look now everything is bleed and adjusted. I tried adujustin the pedal at the track had no effect

I have read here before that sometime the stock type clutches don't work 100% at very high rpm because of the self-adjusters (you didn't say what kind of clutch). That may or may not be it, but look for threads with that topic maybe it will help if the symptoms are similar.

Usually this happens because there is still air in the system, but we have seen other cases where the clutch had to be replaced completely in order to solve the pedal issue. Was the new master bench-bled?

The plot thickens...the clutch fluid was very dark, I flushed the heck out of it seems to be working. But we will see for how long.

If the clutch pedal is sticking to the floor under hard acceleration, typically its caused by the clutch slipping, and imparting too much heat into the diaphragm spring.

When that happens the spring becomes heat fatigued, and can no longer push back against the slave cylinder properly.

Here is a guy with a 5th Gen Camaro, that had a issue very similar to what you are experiencing.

With it being a new setup it seems odd. What kind of power is the car making?

Also feel free to give us a shout (817-750-2000 Or Email Jacob@Monsterlutches.com) and we can go over details.

It's just a bolt on car. It's not sticking down during acceleration it's when I shift from 2-3 or 3-4 at high rpm (6000) or so

Stick a return spring on the pedal, or if there is one, a stronger one.

If it was a stock clutch I'd swear this was the problem.

Small update, with new fluid all is working well I'll just have to keep an eye on the fluid I guess.
