Mcleod RST/RXT pressure plate the same? I currently have a Mcleod RST, have the trans out and might up the power. are the pressure plates the same between the two clutches? wondering if I can get RXT disk while it's out and essentially make it into an RXT :corn: |
It should. Just a different friction material I believe. |
Mcleod sells the disks to make it a RXT and if all the surfaces are flat it will work well. Both pressure plates are the same; only the RXT 1200 is different. |
Yes the RST & RXT share the same exact pressure plate. The RXT 1200 uses a slightly higher clamp load pressure plate. We offer a service where you can send in your RST and have it rebuilt to which ever spec you require. Listed in the link below is a list of services with prices. https://www.mcleodracing.com/content...ervice-center/ Kind Regards, |
thanks alot |
Gotta give McLeod props on their customer service. I had an issue with an RST and they fixed it at no charge. |
