I'm building a '55 Chevrolet sedan and want to keep my bench seat. Ive built a LQ 6.0 and have a Tremec 6 speed. In order to use the Tremec and bench seat together, I needed to move the shifter fro the rear hole to the forward hole. I installed a Driveline Components rail socket and made the attached pdf as a guide on my how too. Hope it assist others in the mod.
