Default Ls7 clutch horsepower?

What's the most you've pushed your ls7 to and it held up .

Don't get an LS7 clutch they're not terribly strong and theyre very heavy. If you're switching clutches look for one thats lighter than stock. (some may argue due to drivability, but IMO the rotational weight being lost is more important)

well they were behind 505hp in stock form (Zo6 vette) , but I agree with the above post , heavy clutch that is notorious for blocking you out of shifts over 5000 rpm when installed in an f body.

I went with the ls7 because it wasn't to expensive I plan on pulling the t56 next year that's why and I'd like to go with an automatic with a ratchet shifter

Yeah, but that is a much lighter car.

in other words our camaros are ~10% heavier than a c6 z06. I'd be interested to see a comparison of rotating mass from the trans back as well, off to Google.

Just curious how much power people have put through their LS7 clutches?

My 05 GTO is pretty much stock, and it needs a clutch, but next year I would like to add an LSA supercharger to my car, so that would up the power a lot. Not sure if the LS7 could handle it.

I don't plan to drag race, just street stuff, road coarse stuff.

My LS7 clutch was fine with 435 to the wheel and never launching on anything else but a street tire. With the new combination on a DR it lasted 2 passes.

I waited for a sponsor sale and my TDP stage 2 was $100 more than an LS7.
