Default Tick master quick disconnect? Leaking..

Was checking over fluids and found clutch reservoir empty. I get underneath car and find little drips on one of the bolts of the bell housing towards the back of trans. Been breaking in the clutch for 2 weeks got about 425miles. Anyways so I check the disconnect and see it kind of wet with brake fluid and not sure it's pushed it all the way. I pulled it out and reinstalled and it clicked. Good to go. Bleed clutch road test and the clutch pedal is not acting like it did before I found the reservoir empty it's actually worse. So I get check underneath again and see fluid again at the disconnect and bolt on bell housing. Is that disconnect look like it's all way it should be into the slave? Maybe bad oring? Need to figure this out so I can get it tuned next week. Thanks

I just bought some off ebay ( UK )

12mm ID, 2mm diameter EPDM o-ring.

I'm sure other types of rubber would work fine too, but EPDM is best suited to horrible nasty brake fluid.

I ran into this issue myself. Went Thur several orings. In up using an A/C style oring. And no leaks for about an year now.

back when I was having the leaking/empty reservoir issue. I called tick with no luck. Was told they only sell by the assembly.

kinda sucks, when your fine one moment. Then driving down I-75. In stop and go traffic, and lose your clutch. If it wasn't for the speed bleeder, that day could have been much worst

Good to know. Maybe I can find an ac oring that will work.

Yea that's what happened to me yesterday would be ok sometimes then be no clutch most of the time. In traffic only because I'm in the process of breaking in the clutch 500miles at least I'm pretty close at around 400.

Oring looks good though

Clean it out, fit a new o-ring and see how it goes.

Update. Found remote bleeder leaking. Got my inspection camera and pumped the clutch started leaking at the crush washer. Pulled trans tightened it up as much as I could. Let it sit for 2 days and checked it out again with the camera still leaking. So have to pull trans again but Going back to stock bleeder. Don't get me wrong the speed bleeder is nice!! Quick bleeding but don't want to have to pull trans if you get a leak or slow seep etc. more brake fluid to use and trans fluid!!

It does no harm to either use some thread lock or sealant on the threads of that, and also ensure mating surface on the slave is totally flat/clean. Even some PTFE tape around the threads before screwing it all together.

I've seen some slaves that didnt really have a machined surface there, as it was never intended to seal via that.
