Not at all, just there are some muppets here. I ordered the very same trans you are talking about at the end of last year and I'm perfectly happy with it. Whilst the carbon 1-2 probably wasnt necessary, for the sake of an extra $350 I figured why not and when people have pushed the regular Magnum gears into the 8's and people with a fair bit over 1k through them, any need for aftermarket gears just seems a nonsense.
