What's the weak link?

I want to see how these mods do on my car at the track. Can my stock Aluminum DS and Clutch handle this? I'm figuring my tires will spin before damaging the stock Alum DS or clutch.

Any Comments?

If anything.. you'll just have a slipping stock clutch.. You're not making enough power to bend or break the driveshaft yet. Not saying that something freaky like that couldn't happen, but it more than likely won't.

You're weak point will be the stock clutch if you get any kinda traction.

If I notice it slipping is it to late, or if I stop running it at the track will I be O.K.

It won't slip all the time unless it's just totally worn out. Most of the time at the track you'll only notice it slipping on the launch when it has the most pressure on it. Also when you're speed shifting going down the track you may notice it also..

Are you asking if KDW's are going to damage a drivetrain part?

I know the tires aren't the best, but with the 12 bolt axle and 4.11 gears, will the tires give (spin) before I would snap the aluminum DS or fry the clutch

you won't snap the DS on KDWS unless your the god of launching or something. i never snapped mine on 555r's...... but did make the rear end have a funny whine to it
