Default Installed tick master cylinder, sometimes I get a popping sound

My stock master cylinder went, car only has 44k miles but too much power on it I guess. I installed a tick master cylinder but there's a few issues. The car doesn't seem like it has a lot of power unless I really get on it in first or second gear. Occasionally I hear a massive 'POP" sound that I'm worried is the driveshaft or rear specifically if I gun it from first into second. Has anyone else experienced this behavior with the tick master?

The master isn't going to cause any of those issues. It has one job.

I'd start buy checking to make sure all the suspension and drivetrain bolts are torqued properly.

What all did you remove to get to the master to replace it?

So I didn't do the install myself. Apparently the slave cylinder was replaced as well. I'd assume the entire trans was removed for the slave to be installed. I guess it could be an improperly torqued trans mount.

If you have a torque arm in the factory location, the bushing can fail and cause a loud clunk/pop/bang when you get on it.
