What's the difference between the Ram and Mcleod Adjustable master?

Other than over 100.00. I am looking at and asj master as I will be replacing the Spec III. Just want to know why one is so much more. Is it worth the difference?

The mcloed is a purpose built piece. That means it is a totatly different piece then the stock master. The ram is a modified stock. The ram imo is the better deal since there are all kinds of threads with the mcloed going bad. BTW, if you buy the ram, it comes with the steel braided line for the hyd. system. Look in the line to make sure the restriction is removed or if it is there, make sure you can fit a 1/8th inch drill bit thru it. Then you don't have to worry about the drill mod.

I just ordered a RAM master from TSP. Its supposed to have the restriction drilled already. I will check it of course;) and post up what I find.

Well its here. It does not come with the hose. You need to use the stock one and drill it out if you haven't already. It does not come with the fluid resevoir either.

It does come with a new roll pin, a new oring for the hose, a zip tie, and the resevoir hose is attached.

It looks like they cut the rod and welded a thicker threaded rod on with a rod end and a jam nut.

The RAM Part# is 510

The Ram master is a stocker made adjustable. I have the McLeod now worked well & is starting to go south. I'd just get a stocker & make it adjustable myself IMO.

I would have made mine adjustable but I was planning on replacing it anyways. Saved some time.

And yes it is the stock master that has been modified.
