Can i use a Z06 clutch and pressure plate with my otherwise stock setup?

Thats what i really want to know. Assuming the Z06 does have benifits over a stock setup.

Yes the Z06/LS6 clutch set up will improve an old LS1 set up. Believe late 2000, and all 2001 and 2002's come with the Z06 clutch. I have a 98SS. Put 300+ launch at 5000+ rpms (stock internals), and it is still going strong.

Yup you shure can. Mine only lasted 6 months. But im not in stock form. Clutch wasnt showing any wear when i took it out had about 10k miles on it!! Just broke the clutch disk. They are OK clutches better than stock if your isnt z06 already. But you could get a RAM for the same price!! (almost) within $50 my Ram setup was $306 shipped
