Under hard launches the car still hooks fine in 1st but during the 1--2 and 2--3 shift where I normally had a nice bark I am now hearing a dull grinding noise coming from the left (it seems). This only happens after a hard launch at WOT.

Could this be a sign that the rear is on it's last legs?
I've recently added 17x11's w/ 315's and changed the diff oil (thinking that would help) but the noise persists...
