Default How to get a M6 a decent '60?

My '00 Z is lowered 2" with the Intrax springs...I have 2.1x '60's on street tires...I just got some DR's..what else will help me launch like a bat out of hell??? What is everyone running and what '60's are u getting...I am spinning when I hit 4 grand...and when i hit second...it is not fun! thanx

Well the lower stance won't help, best you will see on nittos is 1.8's, 1.7's if the track is really damn good... <img src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" border="0" alt="[judgement]" />

What kind of 60's are you shooting for? If you are going all out you will need a strong rear end, clutch, driveshaft, and slicks. The stock clutch and rear on these cars are not up for the abuse of HARD launches at the track. <img src="gr_sad.gif" border="0">

FWIW, my car is also lowered, I have a 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 gears, carbon fiber driveshaft, Mcleod iron disk clutch, and ET Drag slicks. I have BMR LCAs but no relocation brackets. Launching off the rev limiter will yield the 60' in the sig.. <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />
