Default What kind of shifter is this?

If anyone can help me figure what kinda shifter this is...it'd be a great help.

I'd really like to duplicate this shifter in another car.....

Thanks

could be a stocker just ground down.

definately looks like some grinding had been done to it.. it looks almost rusty under the ball.

I realize how stupid the question I asked was. How the **** could you tell what kinda shifter it was with the console in place????????

ANYWAY...I know this is either a factory Hurst or SLP being that the Lou's Short stick part number matches up with only one of the two.

If anyone can help I would be grateful. If you need higher res pics just say so.........

Thanks

Looks alot like my Pro 5.0. Different bolts that hold the stick in but the rest looks the same. Even has the boot cut like the instructions tell you to do. (Bad Idea)

Yeah....wouldn't it say Pro 5.0 or B&M on it? Be engraved with something? Part numbers?

That's my curiosity!

seeing how its got that brass color base, seems like either a stock hurst or maybe a billet one.

It's a stock hurst, with the black LSS. Pro 5.0 is Silver, and the B&M base looks nothing like that.

My Pro 5.0 is gold. I've never seen any of the other shifters so I'd have nothing to compare it to. Just my observation.

Stock hurst... thats what mine looks like.... and it looks like that it's the factory hurst shifter handle, just cut down.

Thanks....you all are bad ***!

Where to get the best price on a LSS other than

http://www.afterthoughtsauto.com/lousshortstick.html

Being that I don't know my shifters, I don't know a good price either!

Thanks in advance

no doubt, stock hurst for sure.

that cannot be the factory handle, because from the factory they come rubber isolated. and that is not.

SO...I got a Lou's from afterthoughtsauto.com. 52 bucks shipped.

Ordered Tuesday and got to my house Thursday. I'm impressed by the shipping without a doubt. I just assumed it came with the "ball type" shift **** as well.

Anyone know where to get it?
