Won't go in gear, please help

02 Trans Am, just minor bolt ons, brand new hydraulics, pro 5.0, textralia clutch, and 9". It doesn't do it every time I race it, but if it starts spinning at the top of first and if I short shift 2nd it just won't go in second gear. It doesn't really matter how hard I jam it, it still won't go if it doesn't want to. I noticed today when I ran it all the way through 1st and went to granny shift into 4th it did the same thing it does with second. Hell the way things are right now 3rd has never felt so easy to hit.

Shifting nomally around town it requires more effort to shit than it used to. It doesn't grind when shifting so whats the deal, bent fork? The clutch is working great, just like everybody elses, so it's not like it's not fully disengaging.

i have the same problem and almost the same set up. sorry 2 dig this up from the grave. but im interested in any possible reasons? so far i hear "the drill mod" and heat wrapping the clutch line are the 2 possible fixes. but for safetys sake, anyone else have any input?

Adjustable Master. that will adjust where your release points are. Sounds like it isn't disengaging all the way, but then again it could be a bent fork unless it is ain all gears including reverse.

Nope just 2nd for me... hmm im gonna try bleeding the line again. And then wrap the clutch line. Textralia suggests a stock master, so adj. isnt the way to go. Thanks for chimin in tho. Anyone else?

I finally got around to messing with it more and I found out the clutch wasn't fully disengaging. I talked with Jeff and Peter, who were always willing to help, about my problem countless times. We decided that there was a variance in my setup somewhere. I ended up building an adjustable master out of a spare stocker and it works perfect now.

"adjustable master out of a spare stocker"

any write ups on that? Ive got that problem where it wont go into gear (for all gears). I guess drill mod and adjustable master is my fix

nice write up. im gonna bleed the system again, and then maybe go for some header wrap on the fluid line. and go from there.
