Default Do i really need the mcleod adjustable master cylinder??

i bought it because i thought i would use it with my spec stage 3 but the stock one seems to be good. what are the benefits of it other than adjusting the pedal?

I think it's supposed to be a little larger diameter than stock. Therefore it would push more fluid to the slave cylinder.

I've done both back and forth a few times.
These are from my obervations.

Advantages:
The Mcleod does move more fluid, with it I am able to keep the pedal closer to the floor without having trouble getting the pressure plate to fully disengage. It does seem to work much better.
The ability to manipulate the engagement point on the clutch a little is definatelty nice.

Disadvantages:
It makes the pedal much stiffer.
Many people including myself, have had some reliability problems with them.

What I would do if I were you, try using the stock master and see how it works out for you. If once everything is together the clutch engagement point ends up really close to the floor and you end up having difficulty banging through the gears, swap the stocker out for the McLeod and bleed the crap out of it... Problem solved.

Just my $0.02... Hope it helps!
