Default Clutch Line on 2001 Z28

I need to get a new clutch hydrolic line. I want to do the drill mod but do not feel comfortable drilling on my only line. If I slip and scrap the line......there goes the car for a while (it is my everyday car). Where can I get a new line? I went to several dealerships here in Phoenix asking for this part. Every time they have told me the only way to get the line is to buy the master cylinder with it ($150).

Thanks

Chris

P.S. I am also thinking of changing my master cylinder to the McLeod Adjustable Master. I have the stock clutch in my car and am wondering if it will be worth the money.

As far as I know the only way to get a new line is with the master. You may be able to pick one up used from someone that has changed out their master.
As far as screwing up the line. It is really very easy to do the drill-out. The worst part is bleeding the system after <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> . Just use a 7/64" drill bit and hold the line straight while you do the drilling, then back flush the line after drilling. It only takes a second to do.

IMO an adjustable master would not be necessary with a stock clutch, but the drill-out will help with the longevity of your tranny.
